Our most popular styling, the 52" Classic Chest embodies design elements
of timeless beauty with centuries old cabinetry techniques. Each piece
constitutes a noteworthy example of fine craftsmanship and beauty
linked with your practical storage needs.
Case Construction: All joinery
is mortise and tenon or double doweled with glued corner blocks to
ensure strength. Dust panels are constructed below each drawer for
function and to increase case rigidity.
Drawers: Ten solid mahogany boxes
are dovetailed front and back. Sides, backs and bottoms are hand sanded,
sealed, lacquered and waxed in a natural finish to ensure a smooth
feel. The underneath are glue blocked for added strength. Dust panels
are provided between drawers.
